Job Title:               Branch Relief Cashier

Base Location:     Dundrum

Reporting to:      Human Resource Department

Contract :              11 month Fixed Term Contract

 

 


Brief Description of Role:

 

This role involves providing an effective customer service resource for Irish Nationwide Building Society, in particular, to accept key responsibility for account transactions.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Responsible for assisting and dealing with customer queries in a professional, courteous and efficient manner and maintaining high levels of customer service.

 

Travel to branches with in County Dublin to provide cover for Annual Leave and Absences.

 

Work Hours:

 

Monday – Friday 9.30am-5.00pm

Saturday 10am-1pm

 

Key Tasks:

 

§         Processing customer transactions.

§         Opening new accounts.

§         Closing accounts.

§         Passbook updates & withdrawals.

§         Foreign exchange transactions & balancing.

§         Processing transactions on Foreign Currency Accounts, i.e. Sterling & Dollar Accounts.

§         General customer queries.

§         Travelling to branches providing cover for absent employees

 

Knowledge, Skills and Attitude Requirements:

 

§         No less than 12 Months Irish or UK Branch Based Retail Banking , Building Society or Credit Union experience

§         Leaving certificate

§         Excellent customer service, interpersonal and organisational skills.

§         Excellent numerical skills essential.

§         Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.

§         Computer Literacy.
