Job Title: Branch Cashier
Reporting to: Branch Manager
Location: O’Connell Street – Part Time
Contract: 11 months Fixed Term
Brief Description of Role:
This role involves providing an effective customer service resource for Irish Nationwide Building Society, in particular, to accept key responsibility for account transactions.
Hours;
12.00 – 2.30pm Monday to Friday
10.00 - 1.00pm Saturday
Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting and dealing with customer queries in a professional, courteous and efficient manner and maintaining high levels of customer service.
Key Tasks:
§ Processing customer transactions.
§ Opening new accounts.
§ Closing accounts.
§ Passbook updates & withdrawals.
§ Foreign exchange transactions & balancing.
§ Processing transactions on Foreign Currency Accounts, i.e. Sterling & Dollar Accounts.
§ General customer queries.
§ Leaving Certificate
§ Must have 12 months minimum branch based retail banking/Building Society/ Credit Union experience in the UK or Ireland
§ Excellent customer service, interpersonal and organisational skills.
§ Excellent numerical skills essential.
§ Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
§ Computer Literacy.
